It's not every day that you get a note from the Vonnegut family, thanking you for your book. Yes, I do mean the Vonnegut family. Cousins of Kurt in some way or another. When your grandmother once knew everyone who was anyone in the city of Indianapolis, things like this happen. My mom gave them a copy of Liberty Girl a few weeks ago.

My parents took me to church this morning, and the Rector greeted me by asking, "And are you the author?" My parents donated copies of Liberty Girl and The Real Life Channel to their library, but I hadn't imagined they'd gotten his attention. I told him the next book was on the way at any time now.

Speaking of which, I haven't seen any copies of Lunar Pioneers yet. I'm waiting until the afternoon tomorrow to go to the Indiana Historical Society, hoping that my book will miraculously turn up. Even if it doesn't, I have copies of my media kit with me, along with some other stuff. I'll make it work, both at the Historical Society and a couple of other places here in town.

Although there's less than two weeks before the International Day of Femslash that's plenty of time to write a short story or two. So, to aid that endeavour, and because some of us are still fighting writer's block, I thought I'd issue this Call to Prompt!

Basically, reply to this post with prompts for IDF. As there are only a couple of weeks left these would need to be prompts for short or mid-length stories, from any number of fandoms (just because you've never seen the fandom posted here it doesn't mean there isn't a writer itching for a prompt for it).

A variety of prompts would also be nice... Remember, as many prompts as you can think of, and for as many different pairings and fandoms.

I have been on this huge CSI kick lately...like watching it almost nonstop...Because I just got three seasons on DVD...Well I just started Season Six and I found something very interesting.

I don't ship Catherine/Sofia...never have...I thought that if they had anything, they would be a one night stand type of thing...

I am a hardcore Catherine/Sara shipper...I mean they are my top pairing...my first pairing...

So I was not looking for proof of Catherine/Sofia

But it wasn't hard to find...in fact, it was really freaking obvious...
